I am looking for a Canadian or US supplier for an adjustable height/angle ottoman.  This is needed to support a worker’s lower leg in an elevated position at approx 45 degrees in sitting.  Any help is appreciated.

I have been looking for the same thing from a US or Canadian supplier but no luck.   The UK, Ireland and Australia have medical/ergonomic/handicapped websites that sell these devices.

Your message is a year old now, if you have found something in the meantime please let me know.  Thank you!

Have you seen the ErgoUP?  If the workers is sitting in an office seat this could be the perfect solution.

Yes, thank you.    The company who manufactures this  leg support sent me email yesterday in response to my message.  Its pricey but we may try it anyway.

    How about something like this?

Alimed also has something a little more basic

    Hope this helps

    Greetings,

I have a local manufacture that makes the ottomans is two sizes.  I am very satisfied with this product as well as are my end users.  I would be happy to e-mail you a picture if you would provide your e-mail address.  They are only $139.00 – $200.00 depending on size and materials.

    Hello user2984

thank you for your suggestions….we did try the adjustable footstool from "aidsforarthritis" but it is not very sturdy.   Our end users have developmental (mental and physical)  disabilities so while this footstool would probably be fine for the general population, it isn’t safe enough for our employees.

We have used the alimed footrest with great success in other situations, it is very sturdy very adjustable.  I would recommend this highly.  Unfortunately for the individual in question it isn’t quite what she needs.

thank you, have a good day.
