    Is it better for a person sitting all day at work to sit on a hard seat like wood or aluminum, or a soft seat with fabric and foam cushioning?

    Are there health benefits for either, or is it strictly a comfort issue?

    Hi, for someone that is going to spend a lot of time sitting down a soft seat is indicated, not just for comfort, but for health reasons also, a soft seat will minimize pressure points and ease the blood flow eliminating pressure fatigue, muscle cramps and edema of the lower limbs.
