I know in the past some automotive assembly facilities have used heat lamps to warm rubber parts to improve a rubber parts flexibility and thus reduce the load forces. We have a rubber hose/metal tube insertion concern which can be addressed by heating the hoses to reduce the load force but the parts cool off too quickly so looking at keeping the hoses warm at the workstation with the use of heat lamp. We are looking for any insights on heating/warming rubber parts and/or any supplier or product info for the heat lamps/warmers that you might have.
    Any insights are most welcome.
    Cheers Richard
