This is my one of the most interesting problem I have encountered with zero knowledge.

When I interested in guitar neck and fingerboard design problem , it was 30 years ago and there was zero knowlledge around. Some of my friend told me there was a luthier at canada who makes custom bass guitars , sending his hand print mold to customers and designs the neck profile , fingerboard profile , their thickness , width and the string lenght and the frets to this handprint.

I dont have any idea what he does ? Simple or very detailed.

Can you please shed some light to that problem and is there luthier related hand shape analysis and synthesis papers , books ?

    Can you please help,

    Thank you very much,

    Mustafa Umut Sarac
