Anyone experience a problem like this?

Users of a medical cart with 19′ lcd monitors have a mandate to use privacy screens over their monitors in order to be HIPAA compliant. With the privacy screens in place, the users are complaining of glare. The carts are 36″ height, with a 19″ non-adjustable monitor. Glare problems are especially bad for taller users rather than shorter users. This gives me a hint that screen angle is part of the problem. The privacy screens limit to 60-degrees of readability. I am guessing that the taller users may have be at that limit with a fixed angle screen, or if adjusting the angle, the overhead lighting is causing the problem.

I am trying to help a colleague, and not directly working with the clients.

Hi – check the privacy screens – we have had people install them backwards….and the back side when facing front will cause glare – it may be a simple fix of flipping them over!- good luck
