Anyone know of Research articles re: quick entry (1-2 weeks) of pts in PT get quicker results to return to work.

Try Zigenfus et al from JOEM 2000 – "Effectiveness of early PT in the treatment of low back disorders" for a comparison of outcomes relating to time of initiation of therapy.

I don't know of any articles for that directly, but you could make some assuptions based off of the recently published study pertaining to direct access for PT. If you didn't read it, here is a link to a PT site I visit frequently that talks about it:

Not so much for getting workers back to work faster, but making the process a little less expensive…which in most cases, the reason to get the worker back ASAP.
